Katie Stabile is HAES informed, National Certified Counselor. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, and is also a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey, Texas Oregon, and Missouri. Katie graduated from a CACREP accredited program at Florida Gulf Coast University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She completed her undergraduate studies at William Paterson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Katie is trained in EMDR trauma therapy, and is a SMART Recovery Facilitator. She is also a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CCTMH), a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Provider (CCATP), and a Certified Addictions Informed Mental Health Provider (CAIMHP). In addition to those certifications, Katie is also a Certified Level III Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapist (EDIT) and a Certified Heart Math Practitioner. She is affiliated with American Counseling Association, Florida Mental Health Counselors Association, and Gulfcoast Mental Health Counselors.
Katie has experience providing clinical counseling to young adults, adults, and seniors in both individual and group settings. Her therapeutic approach is an eclectic one that utilizes evidenced based practices such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused. Katie truly believes that one of the most important factors to the therapeutic process is the therapeutic relationship. She creates a non-judgmental therapeutic environment where clients can feel comfortable to open up and express what is on their mind. Katie has devoted her life to helping others end their suffering and begin to build a happy, healthier, life that they love.
